Actually, it looked more like an anti-war photo opportunity: just a couple dozen protestors standing there while the cameras rolled. The police and media came close to outnumbering them. The guy on the left here seems to be getting his numbers straight from the home office in Baghdad. On the right, you can see how the CBC managed to pick out the, uh, brightest of the bunch to interview. This genius neither needs nor deserves comment. Regardless, I couldn't resist asking him if he knew how many millions of people died under that flag. He assured me I was mistaken and offered to engage in a "dialectical conversation" on the topic.
